Why is there a social stigma about women “putting out” on first dates?

Question by Evie: Why is there a social stigma about women “putting out” on first dates?
Why is it socially “ok” for guys to have sex on the first date or to “hit it and quit it” when women who do so are labeled as being easy…? And how does this affect a couple who decide to move on after the first date?

I don’t have a problem with it. Sometimes it’s the only thing that determines whether or not there will be a second date. lol

I don’t think it’s okay for guys to be able to do that. I usually label a guy like that a man-whore and try not to waste my time on them.

I hit one last night… first date.

I had a third date last night, did not even hook up yet.

If I was to call one first, it would be the girl from last night.

This “social stigmatism” is just a myth perpetuated by society so we look better than we really are.

Just about everyone has put out on a first date, we just don’t admit to it. Not a darned thing wrong with it.
